The Lady Lions made their debut in a 5 set thriller on Monday night vs #10 Nationally Ranked Trinity Valley.
The all freshman squad turned the game around after dropping two straight sets, to come back and win three in a row and close out the 5th 15-7.
The all freshman squad had three offenive threats in double digits. Brianna Morris, a freshman from Oklahoma pounded away 22 kills at a .276 clip, Isabella Moore from Saginaw added 15 on a .294 clip, and Naomi Willis from Spring added 15 Kills on .324. The offense was run by twin duo Miranda Guffy and Madeline Guffy who each dished out assists throughout the match.
The defense was anchored by freshman Lindi Boling from Van Alstyne who added 23 Digs and 3 assists to hold of the Trinity Valley Offense.
The Lions will return to play at home v Arlington Baptist on Monday February 1st.
