Purity Kemboi represented NCTC at the NJCAA Track & Field Championships on May 14th-16th in Hobbs, New Mexico.

Kemboi competed in two events for the lady lions- the 1500m race and the 5000m race. In the 1500m prelims, Kemboi took 16th with a time of 5:08.10.

Competing in the finals for the 5000m event, Kemboi took 21st overall with a time of 20:24.93.

Kemboi's appearance at the National Championships concludes the spring track and field season for NCTC. Way to go lady lions!
