The lady lion softball team took down the lady vikings in a double header home conference matchup on March 25th.

In game one, Grayson took the lead 1-0, scoring in the first inning with three no run innings to follow. In the fifth inning, NCTC came out strong running the score board up 2-1. NCTC scored an additional run in the sixth inning to finish the game with a big starting win 3-1. Bailey Short earned 2 RBI for the lady lions, along with Konoko Gadt who earned 1 RBI. Abriana Coy led the mound for the lady lions, facing 31 batters with 6 strikeouts and only giving up one run.

In game two, the lady lions and lady vikings were neck and neck until the finish. NCTC started up through the first five innings 3-2, until Grayson came back in the sixth inning scoring two runs. NCTC finished strong scoring twice in the seventh inning to earn another big win 5-4. Standout hitters for the lady lions were Rylee Adams and Abby Wolf who each added two RBI, along with Bailey Short who put up one RBI with a home run. Rylee Adams pitched in game two, facing 31 batters and earning 3 strikeouts.
