Lady Lions Ready to Roar as NCTC Softball Opens New Season

The NCTC lady lion softball team is set to take the field as the 2026 season begins. With a blend of returning experience and fresh talent, the team enters a new season focused on growth, grit, and making their presence felt in the NTJCAC.

Returning for the 2026 season includes standout pitcher Abriana Coy, who played 36 games for the lady lions in the 2025 season, with 19 pitching appearances. Also returning for the team are outfielders Olivia Martin, Faith Ramirez, Montana Moore, along with infielders Miranda Serrato and Emma Dalberg. As freshmen in 2025, the returning athletes stepped into significant roles and helped the lady lions earn 32 wins on the season. With a talented returning core and new faces to the program, the lady lions have plenty to be excited about as the new season gets underway.

North Central Texas College opens the 2026 season at home on February 1st, hosting Barton Community College for the first doubleheader of the year.
