NCTC Lady Lions hang on againstEl Paso, 3-2

El Paso was never able to get over the hump and overcome its troubles against NCTC Lady Lions on Saturday, as El Paso fell 3-2 at Ft. Worth, TX after falling behind by two runs in the second inning.

El Paso scored one run in the fourth on an RBI single by Gregory. Still, El Paso couldn't catch NCTC Lady Lions .

Brooke Ford reached base three times in the game for NCTC Lady Lions . She scored one run and had one RBI. She singled in the second and fourth innings.

Kaylea Armstrong was in control on the rubber. Armstrong held El Paso hitless over 3 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out none.

Emily Kuser recorded the win for NCTC Lady Lions . She allowed two runs over 3 2/3 innings. She struck out two, walked none and surrendered five hits.

The top of the first saw El Paso take an early lead, 1-0. Alexander singled to ignite El Paso's offense. A few plays later, Putnam stole home.

The game was never in doubt after the first, as NCTC Lady Lions scored two runs on a two-run single by Hailie Henson.
