NCTC Lady Lions falls to Seminole St. 7-4 in spite of Rylee Hodges's performance

Rylee Hodges did all she could to give NCTC Lady Lions a boost, but it wasn't enough to get past Seminole St., as NCTC Lady Lions lost 7-4 in seven innings at Ft. Worth, TX on Friday.

Hodges boosted her batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace NCTC Lady Lions . She doubled in the third inning and singled in the second and fifth innings.

Kelly Emerine couldn't get it done on the rubber for NCTC Lady Lions , taking a loss. She allowed seven runs in seven innings, walked none and struck out none.

The top of the second saw Seminole St. take an early lead, 2-0. Seminole St.'s rally started when Morgan Dalmer singled.

NCTC Lady Lions scored three runs of its own in the second. NCTC Lady Lions scored on an RBI single by Brooke Ford and an RBI single by Adrienne Nairn.

Seminole St. brought home two runs in the third inning, and matched that run total in the fourth. In the third, Seminole St. scored on a groundout byChastyn Spruill, plating Alissa Taylor.

The lead stayed with Seminole St. after the fourth, when it scored two runs on an RBI triple by Kiannah Molina.
