Megan Durante went 4-4 at the plate, sparking NCTC Lady Lions to a 5-2 victory in seven innings over Ft. Scott CC on Friday at Ft. worth, TX.

She doubled in the first inning and singled in the third, fifth, and sixth innings.

Sierra Nichols got it done on the rubber on the way to a win. She allowed two runs over five innings. Nichols struck out two, walked one and gave up seven hits.

The top of the second saw NCTC Lady Lions take an early lead, 1-0. The NCTC Lady Lions attack began with a single from Maddie Horn.

After a quick strike from NCTC Lady Lions , Ft. Scott CC responded with one run in the second. Ft. Scott CC scored on a sacrifice fly by Alex Perez.

NCTC Lady Lions never surrendered the lead after the third inning, scoring one run on a solo home run by Rylee Hodges.

After pushing across one run in the bottom of the fifth, Ft. Scott CC faced just a 3-2 deficit. An RBI double by Allison Daus sparked Ft. Scott CC's rally. NCTC Lady Lions stopped the rally after Nichols got Aubrey Smith to fly out.
