Daniel Mathenge and Henry Kibet competed for the lions at the XC National Championships on November 8th in Fort Dodge, Iowa. 

Despite the harsh weather conditions, the two lions representing NCTC XC faced the snowy weather and competed hard. In the men's 8000m race, Mathenge finished 38th with a time of 26:41.6 and Kibet finished 55th with a time of 27:04.6, out of 211 total runners.
