NCTC men's XC competed at the regional meet on October 25th where two lions earned a ticket to nationals.

Freshmen Daniel Mathenge and Henry Kibet both qualified for nationals in the 8k at the NJCAA Region V Cross Country Championships.

Mathenge led the lions with a fifth place individual finish, clocking a time of 24:04.8. Teammate Henry Kibet also turned in a strong showing, finishing 16th overall with a time of 24:56.3 to secure his nationally qualifying spot.

Both runners will represent NCTC at the NJCAA Cross Country National Championships to be held in Fort Dodge, Iowa on November 8th.
