NCTC Men's Track and Field traveled to OU to compete in the John Jacobs Invitational meet on April 10th, facing a competitive field of athletes across multiple divisions.

Gavin Smith highlighted the sprint group with a top four finish in the 100m, crossing the line in 10.44. DJ Kamara added a 9th place finish in the 400m with a time of 48.79.

Distance runner Henry Kibet competed in two events, placing 7th in the 1500m with a 4:06.35 and 8th in 5000m with a 15:37.12.

In the hurdles, Jaylen Dozier turned in a strong performance with a 3rd place finish in the 110m hurdles at 15.03 and a fourth place finish in the 400m at 56.54. Jayden Young also contributed in both hurdles events, placing 6th in the 110m hurdles at 15.61 and runner-up in the 400m hurdles at 54.49.

The lions continued to post competitive marks across multiple events and saw success across the board with athletes placing in the top 10 in several events.
