Lions Track & Field traveled to Shawnee to compete at the Oklahoma Baptist University Invitational Meet on March 27th-28th, where Jaylen Dozier won the 400 Hurdles with a time of 55.24. Right behind Dozier in 2nd place was Jayden Young with a 55.47.

Dozier also took a bronze finish in the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.00. In the other sprinting events, DJ Kamara added another bronze finish in the 400m dash with a time of 48.34 and Gavin Smith finished 6th in the open 200m race with a time of 21.58. Smith also took 9th in the 100m event with a time of 10.67.

In the distance events, Henry Kibet took 15th in the 1500m with a time of 4:14.38, and then a top 25 finish in the 500m with a time of 16:20.94.
