March 5th, 2025 Doubleheader vs Weatherford College
In the first game, the lions fell to the coyotes 3-13. The lions scored three runs led by Caleb Cowan, who hit a home run and earned 3 RBI. The second game was more competitive, with NCTC narrowly dropping the game 5-6. The lions rallied in the middle innings, but Weatherford held on for the win. Standout players for the lions included Austin Myers with a double and 2 RBI, Cole Rager with a home run and 2 RBI, and Dylan Robinson with another RBI. Braden McIntire and Jace Patton led the way pitching, facing 23 and 16 batters respectively.
March 9th, 2025 Doubleheader at Weatherford College
In the rematch with Weatherford, the lions took over game one winning 6-3, then fell to the coyotes in game two 12-0. Game one standouts included the combination of Trevor Hunter, Landon Campbell, and Brooks Griggs-Bellon the mound, along with a steady batting lineup. Colson Wood hit a triple, earning 2 RBI for the team, along with Logan Sanchez, Dylan Robinson, and Brady Reeves who each added another RBI.
March 10th, 2025 at Dallas College- North Lake
NCTC secured a 5-4 win over Northlake in a 10-inning thriller. The lions proved resilient with key hits in extra innings to earn a team win. Major Bilyeu earned 2 RBI for the team, along with Colson Wood and Brady Reeves who each added an RBI.
March 12th, 2025 Doubleheader at Vernon College
In game one, NCTC lost 19-2, only to bounce back for game two. The lions batting took over the game as they won 12-1. Logan Sanchez racked up the score with a homer, earning 3 RBI for the team. Kevin Diaz and Jonathan Edwards both put up 2 more RBI each, along with Drew Thompson who had 1 RBI. Aaron Montanez led the lions on the mound, limiting Vernon to a single run in game two.
March 12th, 2025 Doubleheader vs Vernon College
NCTC faced Vernon at home, dropping both games in close matchups, with scores of 8-10 and 3-11. The lions had multiple athletes hit home runs including Logan Sanchez with 2, Andrew Roberts, Colson Wood, and Austin Myers. In game two, Mekhi Betancis earned 2 RBI for the team, followed by Sean Rabe with 1.
