I went to Midwestern State and continued to play softball.

Since NCTC I have graduated from UNT with a degree in Biology. I am currently a science teacher and a softball coach under my father at Grand Prairie High School. I have been married a little over a year and enjoy every minute of it. I am so blessed to be able to stay involved in softball and share my knowledge with others.
What is your funniest story you have of your time at NCTC? What is the most memorable sports moment at NCTC?
We made WAY too many great memories to list. I loved going down the "slide" downtown though :)! The most memorable sports moment would have to my first ever homerun!

Marketing/Production Manager for LoneStar Pages...we publish community books & community coupon magazines. I manage a team of 15 sales representative as well as managing the sales office, networking & actively involved in the community with chamber events etc.
married to Brandon Melton, we live in Lewisiville TX
Hobbies include playing slow-pitch softball on a competitive traveling coed team, playing 4 nights a week
What is your funniest story you have of your time at NCTC? What is the most memorable sports moment at NCTC?
Coach Hedrick made me run alot....I mean alot....seems that I was the target for all April Fools Day jokes...lets just say everytime I hear a diesel truck I still get a little scared...his red diesel truck still haunts me till this day ha!

After leaving NCTC i decided to go to Texas State University!!! I did not continue playing softball but i am for sure an athletic supporter!! GO BOBCATS!!!

I am graduating in 2010 with a major in Exercise Sports Science with a Minor in Biology. I hope to be a high school Science teacher and a Softball coach!! While i am still in school i am working at a child care center in San Marcos as a Pre -K teacher and i love it! Co-Ed softball is my favorite thing to do!!
What is your funniest story you have of your time at NCTC? What is the most memorable sports moment at NCTC?
oohhhh.... good ol' NCTC where do i even begin....

it rained once during a game when they finally called the game we had to tarp the field and we got to slide across the tarp as a team.... one of the most fun memories!!

When i dove for a ball Coach Hedirck always called it the"DYER PLOP" one afternoon when the field was really wet and had lost of mud spots he dared me to dive for it right into the mud.... so FUN but so DIRTY!!!

Hand shakes were always a good one!

The fact that the ONLY place i ever hit a home run was at Paris! Haha

my favorite playng moment was when we were playing Temple at home and it was the 2nd game of the double header. we had a runner at third and two outs. we needed to score that run to win the game and i hit a line drive over the third basemans head to win the game!!!

Cant forget when we were playing at Regionals in 2006 and a i took a hard ground ball to the EYE!!! OUCH!! 9 stiches later..... played the next day!!

I am currently at Tarleton State University playing softball.

On top of finishing my last year in softball, I am working on my bachelors degree in exercise and sport studies towards fitness management and will be graduating in May 2010. After graduating, I hope to find a softball coaching job at a junior college, and maybe university in the future.
What is your funniest story you have of your time at NCTC? What is the most memorable sports moment at NCTC?
I cannot even point out what my favorite or funniest story at NCTC would be because there were SO many. I do have to say in 2008 at the regional tournament when we warmed up at The Colony and then drove back to the complex to literally run up to the field right as the game was starting was pretty funny. The look on the parents face and Vernon was priceless. Most memorable sports moment at NCTC was when we won Conference Champions!!
