The Lions had two players named to the Academic All-American teams which consist of an average GPA for four semesters over a 4.0.  Carson Goldsmith from Austin, and Cooper Chambers from Allen, were both named to this prestigous team.  Goldsmith will be catching next year at Northwestern State Louisiana where Chambers will be playing at West Texas A&M or Texas A&M Kingsville.

Ross Goebel from Cuero and Cameron Brewer from Garland Lakeview, were named to the Academic All-Conference team.  To be named to this team, one must maintain an average GPA over a 3.25 for three semesters.  Goebel will be heading to Texas State to pitch while Brewer will be joining Goldsmith at Northwestern State Louisiana.
