North Central's baseball team completed a great season in the classroom this past spring.  The Lions had five sophomores named to the Academic All-Conference Team, Adam Westbrook, Daniel Sciantarelli, Garrett Harris, Brett Able, and Jake Arrington.  Jake Arrington, was named Academic All-American.  He was the baseball team's seventh Academic All-American in the past four years. 

The Lions as a team faired very well in the classroom.  The Lions had six players named to the President's List.  Sophomores Jake Arrington and Adam Westbrook, freshman Ross Goebel, Ryan Payne, Andrew Heldman, and Tyler Sain were all named to the President's List.

The Lions had five players named to the Dean's List.  Sophomores Brett Able and freshman Cameron Brewer, Jordan Harrison, Evan Ramsey, and William Fletcher.

As a whole, the team finished up with one of its best team GPAs for a spring with a 3.21.  That achievement puts them among the top in the country in their sport.  The Lions baseball team has never been below a 2.75 GPA for the past twelve semesters.
