Former Lion Mark Cohoon has gottten ff to a great start pitching in the South Atlantic League for the Savannah Sand Gnats.  He was leading the league with a 1.30 ERA when he was selected to the All Star Team.  He had only given up 68 hits and 17 walks in 90 innings pitched.  His last three starts were unmatched from anyone else in the entire minor leagues.  He threw three straight complete game shut-outs which led to his promotion to the New York Mets Double A affiliate Binghamton Mets in the Eastern League.  He won his first start in Double A last Saturday. 

Mark played for the Lions on the 2007 and 2008 teams in which combined for over 75 wins.
