Two former Lion catchers were taken on the second day of the Major League Baseball Draft.  Teammates while at NCTC, Bryan Holaday (TCU) and Chad Keefer (Louisiana Lafayette) were taken in the draft.  Bryan Holaday was taken in the 6th round by the Detroit Tigers while Keefer was taken in the 28th round by the Florida Marlins. 

Another former Lion, Terrance Jackson (Oklahoma City) was taken by the New York Mets in the 39th round.
