North Central Lady Lions get two W's after finding a dry field in Sadler, Texas at S&S high school where the Lady Lions faced Lon Morris College out of Jacksonville, Texas.

North Central outlasts Lon Morris in game 1 on Sunday after four lead changes, squeaking out a 4-2 win at Gainesville, TX.

Lady Lions finally managed to grab the lead after a strong third inning.

Bailey Brantley racked up two RBIs on three hits for NCTC. Brantley homered in the first inning and singled in the third and fifth innings.

Lon Morris was led by a flawless day at the dish by #20, who went 3-3 against the lady lion's pitching. #20 singled in the first, third, and sixth innings.

Mindy McElroy had great control, throwing strikes on 75 of her 124 pitches.McElroy collected nine strike outs and walked three.

Lon Morris jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. After #4tripled, Lon Morris kept the pressure on North Central pitching, as #20 singled, bringing home #4.


Rachel Morris leads NCTC to 7-0 victory thanks to five strikeouts...

Sunday was a great day for Rachel Morris, as Morris tossed a shutout to carry the Lady Lions to a 7-0 victory over Lon Morris at S&S in seven innings.

NCTC's Rachel Morris kept Lon Morris off the scoreboard for all seven innings she toed the rubber. She pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on two hits while striking out five.

The biggest inning for North Central was the fourth. In the inning the Lady Lions scored four runs.

Alyssa Giddens racked up four RBIs on one hit for NCTC. She homered in the fourth inning.

Haley ColwellAlyssa GiddensRachel KidwellKat Strunk, and Brittany Wilson all collected hits for the Lady Lions. Colwell led the team with two hits.
